Your best bet is to convince your "network administrator" to use masq
modules for these things.
I believe netmeeting uses H.323. I remember seeing an H.323 module at
http://ipmasq.cjb.net/.
I just wrote a microsoft messenger module yesterday (what a coincidence!)

Hi Perjan
I have video and audio going out of my private network but I was unable

I've heard that netmeeting sends the IP address of the machine in the
payload
of the packet which in my case is a private IP address. If netmeeting on

Hi,
In some news archive I found your message about ipfw and netmeeting (from

For me, I can receive audio and video, but can't send any.
Probably netmeeting is setting up peerconnections, sending audio and video.
How about ICQ? I sometimes am not ab

just got the port specs from M$'s site, and I'm looking into how to do it
right now. I'll post what I have in a few days (Don't have time to do any

This is because the router uses NAT and the packets arriving at your
friend's computer appear to come from your router, not your NT server.
I'm not familiar with Netmeeting, but if it tries to create a return
connection, this may not work. Several other protocols do this and only

Here's my problem (please help if you can):
I've setup a Linux to route between my intranet and the Internet (through a
cable modem). I'm using IP Masquerading, which is working fine and has been
for a long time. Now, i'm trying to connect to a friend of mine through
Netmee
reted platforms, instead of waiting for M$.

Yes, as I said, I have ip forwarding and Masquerading set up - and it's
working fine, but I was after help with the ipfwadm commands for Netmeeting
if anyone has tried it before (not sure of ports etc) or if there was a
modprobe that I could do.

Paul.

Can anyone please point me in the right
direction to getting my Debian/Linux box, set up with ipfwadm for Masquerading
to allowing traffic for Netmeeting thru from Windows boxes on my internal
network?
Like a /sbin/modprobe/netmeeting or somthing?
