get nothing back.

For the record, removing the debian 'ipmasq' package - which had an empty
configuration and therefore was defaulting everything to deny - solved the
ping and dns problems, solved everything in fact except how to get ipmasqing
working in 2.0.34.

for over a year now, yesterday I upgraded about 130 packages, and tonight
the machine crashed for me (it use to do this every now and then, but I
have never had any serious problem with that) and I just could not get the
