Hi! Amanda Shuler ([EMAIL PROTECTED]): did you run xf86config? maybe he has ;-) IIRC there are situations where some parameters aren't set as chosen. edit /etc/X11/XF86Config (it has a manpage :-) and go to Section monitor. set HorizSync and VertRefresh according to your monitors manual.
