Is there a command to set quota on a partition, or I must write usrquota and grpquota to the proper line/row of fstab [to mount options]? Please Help. Debian Lenny

I got quota to work with one user (set up before I installed quota) and not I can't get quotas set on the 2nd HD for new users... When I type 'edquota username' it shows both HDs, but when I type 'repquota -a' it doesn't show the user's name under the 2nd HD... only the first.. I tried running

In your fstab, do you have quotas enabled for that filesystem? I guess that is the first thing that comes to mind. Because users can write to other filesystems quotaless, unless quotas are enabled on it. Dennis + dpk [EMAIL
