sysvinit and kbd

Trying to avoid a problem discussed on the developers' list, I snarfed the latest sysvinit and kbd off Incoming of a mirror this morning, and installed over what was probably the offending pair. The new packages are: kbd_0.95-6_i386.deb and sysvinit_2.74-2_i386.deb

sysvinit and kbd SOLVED.
