hi i 've probs get the parport device work with vmware 3.0 and 3.1. i switched the paralell device in the bios to epp mode and compiled the modules parport and parport_pc. i do not use a printer on lp, so i did not compile lp support into the kernel. /dev/parport0 exists. if i configure vmware
