I have just upgraded to XFree 3.3-3 . All went smoothly but I have two
questions
Firstly when I start emacs I get the following warning

You need to get the new release of xemacs. There seems there was some
incompatability that was fixed by recompiling.

Probably. I've done this on a mission critical machine with a Matrox
Millenium 4MB card. Just downloaded the correct (SVGA) server

3D 3000) very well. ... I was gonna upgrade with the packages in
/unstable/x11/ ... do I need anything other than xbase and xS3V/SVGA?
I'm not terribly worried about upgrading all my applications unless it's
