QEMU doesn't open?

More to the point, QEMU (more specifically, QtEmu) itself does open, but when I try to open a virtual machine, nothing happens. I use an ISO for the cd rom option and set it to boot from CD-ROM; surveying the various options is giving me no luck as to how to solve this
