minimal problems. I had installed 3.1 into bo before the installer
package came along and it was a bit strange to configure, but following
the instructions to the letter helped.

Have you compiled your own tk8.0 binaries? If not, you could have the
wrong version of the tk8.0 package. Did you use any --force flags on dpkg
when installing tkman? You need at least version 8.0p2-2 of the tk8.0
package for tkman to work.

Use df (disk free).
For compression you can look for tar and zip.
I don't think that there is disk compression utility. But I could be
wrong.

I assume the question is which server in the list do I choose. If so
the answer is usually XF86_SVGA. This supports most video cards. The
other servers are designed for specific cards. If you have one of these
cards, then use one of the other servers. To better help, give us the

session you have to set the variable DISPLAY. so next time you su to

running the latest hamm and extracted the tarball into /tmp. I then read the

Normally when i'm installing stuff, I su to root in an Xterm and use apt or
dpkg. But if the APT GUI will be X based, and I do that, won't the X-serve
reject the connection?
