I have installed minimal X on Etch Stable. Nicely working. Copy/paste from firefox and in to vi/jed doesn't seem to work, nor the other way round. So I wanted a small and nice X text editor which I can use as a medium to save the clipboard text and then paste in to vi/jed sessions and vice-versa.

Slow nfs mounts after sarge2etch upgrade

Hello, I just upgraded from sarge to etch, and afterwards my NFS mounts were very slow (5-10 minutes each mount). After the mounting the connection speed is OK. I googled for that, but I couldn't find any hints. Did I find a bug, and if yes, where should i report it? Thanks in advance. Chris
