Ja estem a freeze??? Des de quan??? Això vol dir que aviat (excès de cometes?) tindrem la nova estable??? Ja fa temps que tinc ganes de que surti l'stable per resoldre problemes congènits amb l'amule, i per la llauna e que pàgines com la de l'Adwords no funcionin amb el Iceweasel, perquè google diu que estic passat de moda... Com veieu canviar els repositoris de l'estable actual a la propera estable? Millor esperar un temps, que acabin de pulir també el procś d'actualització? Salut, Joan Cervan Hola, en general quan wordpress.org publica una nova versió aquesta no entra a la estable de Debian de turno ja que a part de resoldre problemes de seguretat també sol incloure noves funcionalitats i no és del tot backwards-compatible. Com a molt, l'equip de Debian hi aplicarà algun patch que trobin a les noves versions de WP publicades que resolguin problemes de seguretat i que funcionin a l'antiga. Fixa't que a Squeeze hi ha el WordPress 3.3.2, i que ja n'han sortit 3 de noves (http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/). La cosa més aviat funciona que cada cop que Debian fa un freeze per a treure una nova versió, inclou l'últim WP publicat i si en surten de nous allà queda. Per això actualment a Squeeze i Sid hi ha la 3.4.1, que si que és la última de WP, però si la setmana que vé sortís la 3.4.2 lo més segur que ja no s'actualitzaria perquè ara ja estem en estat 'freeze' de Debian. Salut. Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider à installer la dernière version de VLC sur ma Debian stable (ou presque) 64 bits ? J'ai les dépots multimedia, backports, mais voici ce que j'obtiens lorsque je veux installer la version du dépot backports : nico@gaston:~$ sudo apt-get install -t backports vlc Lecture des listes de paquets... Je n'arrivais pas à mettre à jour vlc-nox, alors je l'ai installé manuellement avec dpkg -i après avoir téléchargé le paquet sur debian.org. Après j'ai aussi pu mettre à jour vlc de 1.2 vers 2. Por tanto, debe mostrar únicamente 2 procesadores lógicos (abstracción que hace el kernel para el manejo del SMP y Job Scheduler). Por ejemplo, el Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N455, que cuenta con 1 core y 2 threads, equivale a 2 procesadores lógicos. Error de apache2 - You don't have permission to access / on this server
no se que paso con mi servidor local de apache en debian 6 sucede que despues de crear un virtual host de la siguiente formar como siempre lo he hecho en anteriores oportunidades. 1.- en /home/hugo/web/ creo la carpeta web1 como usuario hugo 2.- Como usuario root /etc/apache2/sites-available he creado el archivo www.miweb1.com con el siguiente contenido VirtualHost *:80 ServerAdmin webmas...@miweb1.com ServerName www.miweb1.com DocumentRoot /home/hugo/web/web1 Directory /home/hugo/web/web1/ Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride None Order allow,deny allow from all /Directory /VirtualHost 3.- como root desde consola ejecuto la siguiente: a2ensite www.miweb1.com 4.- luego como root edito agrego la siguiente en /etc/hosts 127.0.1.1 www.miweb1.com 5.- reinicio el servidor apache como usuario root /etc/init.d/apache2 restart 6.- finalmente desde un navegador abro mi web local con www.miweb1.com ya estaba en marcha mi web local siempre en anteriores oportunidades pero ahora me sale el siguiente mensaje: Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. Sin Webcam despues de instalar skype
Ayer la webcam funcionaba bien la había usado con kamoso y tambien con gtalk pero instale skype la versión de 64 bits para linux, y añadi los repositorios de stable para instalar las librerías legacy de las que dependía y no estaban en sid (que es el que uso), las librerías que instale fueron ia32-libs ia32-libs-gtk ..hoy fui a intentar usar la webcam y no funciona, ni kamoso ni gtalk la reconocen ni mucho menos skype como podría reconfigurar la webcam o volverla a instalar? montar um smartphone no Debian testing

Preciso de ajuda para montar um smartphone com Android numa máquina Debian
Wheezy. Já estou há algumas semanas tentando, mas sem sucesso. Eis o caso:
Ao espetar o smartphone Samsung S3 (que está configurado para usar o protocolo
MTP) no computador, dois dispositivos, exatamente com o mesmo nome, aparecem no
Nautilus (uso o Gnome 3 e o Fluxbox): SAMSUNG_Android. Ao tentar inspecionar os
dispositivos (clicando sobre eles) obtenho mensagens do tipo

A única coisa estranha nessas mensagens (acho eu) é o segfault nas últimas

But it is not read-only on drive level, as we can prove by using a burn program to write data onto it. Burn programs use the generic SCSI driver, not the block device driver. On August 10 you reported: I did another test using system rescue cd. While it gives me the same error when I run dvd+rw-format, I note that mkudffs complains about multiple extents. The second of the two problems showed a change in behavior. The first one sits obviously in the drive and does not get influenced by changing the system. I assume that the second problem sits in the operating system. So i advise you to boot the rescue system and to check whether the medium can be written via the block device driver of that system: dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sr0 bs=2048 count=1 If this succeeds, then you could try to find out what mkudffs has to complain. It might then be that the content of the medium is disliked by mkudffs. If no progress can be made otherwise, i would flood the medium with zeros and try mkudffs again: dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sr0 bs=2048 count=11826176 This will last about 40 - 100 minutes with 2x speed. It depends on the quality of the drive how much effective speed it gets from the checkreading which it performs on BD-RE while writing. You can speed it up and get progress messages by letting xorriso do the writing while it disables checkreading: dd if=/dev/zero bs=2048 count=11826176 | xorriso -as cdrecord -v dev=/dev/sr0 -nopad stream_recording=on - But the central riddle remains: Why does the block device driver of a Debian system suddenly decide that the medium in the drive is incapable of writing ? This behavior must have had a trigger. When did it begin and what system changes were done around that time ? Explanation (AFA my limited understanding goes):
The pcm. and ctl. lines define cards - the former for the audio
output interface, and the latter for the control (mixer) interface.
So I have defined two logical cards (each with an audio interface and
mixer interface), one for the 'Intel' card, and one for the
'Device' (USB) card.
The 'pcm.!default' lines tell the audio subsystem which cards to use
for the audio output and the mixer [and these defaults are independent
- you can have situations where the sound is going out by default
through one card, but the mixer is defaulting to a different card -
headache ;)].
So I currently have the system defaulting to the USB device. When I
don't want it, I just comment out the last two lines. [There's
doubtless some 'correct' way to automate this via udev or suchlike, but
I haven't bothered.]
As above, lspci is less useful here than the aplay list commands.

Why keep old ones around anyway? A sort of backup in case you need to install packages by hand (i.e. with dpkg -i).
