Hola, He eliminat el fitxer comprimit que contenia el patch tal com el Pere va dir. Tot ha anat bé. Ara ja tinc el paquet en format .deb. Encara no ho he intal·lat ja que tinc uns dubtes de principiant que agrairia algú em pogués resoldre: 1) Per què aquesta nota? Nota important bloquegeu en el aptitude el opensc. A les actualitzacions torna a instal·lar el antic Jo no instal·laré el paquet opensc si no el paquet que acabem de fer que es diu opensc_0.12.2-3_amd64.deb Relacionat amb el punt anterior 2) amb quina aplicació he d'instal·lar el paquet que acabem de fer? aptitude? dpkg? 3) sé que utilitzant aptitude el sistema s'ocupa de tot. Si he d'utilitzar el dpkg on tinc que guardar el paquet .deb que acabem de fer. Al mateix lloc on aptitude guarda els seus? Per cert, on és això? A qualsevol altre lloc per no barrejar les coses? El deixo al meu directori? L'elimino després d'instal·lar-lo? En aquest sentit, a la guia de mantenidors [1] diu que altres distribucions reserven el camí /usr/local/ per aquest tipus de coses com ara modificacions locals del sistema però Debian no. El packet que estas installant amb el dpgk es el opensc amb la mateixa versió. Segurament podria haver modificat la versió modificant el changelog (Encara que modificat. Per aixó el bloqueix) El aptitude el dona per instal·lat directament. dpkg es la utilitat per manegar paquets debian fora de la distribució i es molt probable que sigui cridat per el aptitude altre distribucions en aquest cas podrien ser Suse o Redhat. Per lo que sé Ubuntu al ser un derivat de debian té la mateixa estructura de fitxers. Si no recordo malament els paquets .deb nomes es guarden a la caché del apt i poden ser esborrats sense que passi gaire cosa No crec que aquest sigui un procediment estàndard per instal·lar patchs. El vaig crear principalment per poder-lo passar al distribuïdor del opensc i al creador del opendnie i el pugessin afegir. Com he dit abans es molt probable que el aptitude usi el dpkg (directa o indirectament). Un s'en carrega de treballar amb les distribucions mentre que el altre manipula els paquets. Hola, Gràcies. Ho provaré. Si no ho he entès malament, el paquet opensc que hi ha al rebost de Debian no es vàlid per usar el DNIe. Es necessita el mateix paquet però amb modificacions específiques pel DNIe. Això és precisament el que hi ha al paquet opensc-dnie que proporciona la la web de la policia (quan facin el de Wheezy). Si utilitzes aquest procediment hauria d'instal·lar opensc + opensc-dnie. Amb el paquet que acabo de fer ja tinc opensc + modificacionsDNIe amb el paquet opensc amb la versió actual. Si el bloquejo evito mals de cap quan el paquet s'actualitzi automàticament al rebost de Debian. Moltíssimes gràcies pel vostre ajut. Correció: El paquet que he adaptat es el opensc-opendnie obtingut de Cenatic. El paquet de la policia està antiquat i el tindrien que retirar de les distribucions. A mes aquest paquet de la policia estava antigament en llicencia privada privativa i posteriorment en llicencia GPL. Aixo era incompatible amb el opensc-0.12 que exigeix llicencia LGPL. Carte RAID
Bonjour, J'ai un serveur DELL POWEREDGE T620, avec une carte RAID PERC H710, et je souhaiterai savoir comment faire pour procédé à l'installation de la distribution. J'ai pris la derniere version en cours (stable, 6.0.5), mais j'ai un message me disant qu'il ne détecte pas le disque (dû jsutement à l'utilisation de cette carte). Avez-vous une solution? Merci

paquets cassés mise à jour impossible
Bonjour, je suis sous unstable depuis peu et j'essaie d'apprendre à m'en servir. Seulement j'ai un soucis de paquets cassés. un aptitude update me donne des mises à jours à effectué, mais un aptitude full-upgrade me raconte un tas d'histoire que je ne comprends pas ?et me donne toujours un certain nombre de paquets à mettre à jour, si je dit ok, ça se termine par erreur de dpkg ... Ensuite si j'essaie un dpkg-reconfigure le paquet cassé ou aptitude install le paquet mal installé, il veut me supprimer plus de 500 paquets à priori tous dépendant de kde. jusqu'a maintenant je dit non, mais résultat j'ai des soucis avec vlc, k3b, et autre applis. j'ai copié toutes les commandes et leurs résultats sur un fichier texte visible à cette adresse http://logosegenetosarx.eu/jipe/mise_a_jour il est très long,(presque 1000lignes) c'est pour ça que je ne l'ai pas joint à ce message. J'ai l'interrupteur sur le PC toujours sur on, mais un bigntz venant du software l'eteint, et wicd n'a pas cette option... Merci donc pour ce premier debugging. J'ai eu pas mal de de problèmes avec les drivers nvidia mais aujourd'hui ils sont à jour. vlc plante aussi en fait c'est la liste qui casse avec compiz. Je te déconseille d'utiliser aptitude, avec quantal il vaut mieux faire la mise à jour avec sudo update-manager -d Aujourd'hui la mise à jour n'a pas de paquet cassée... Ai fini par lire le lien de Jean-Luc dans mon lieu de vacance(s), installe rfkill. Sans bien tout comprendre ai joue avec rfkill entre hard- et soft key de phy0 et wlan0. Au bout d'un moment l'icône du tray a clignote, me suis colle sur un hotspot. Ai reboote et la soft key reste debloquee. C'etait la solution. Suggestion: créer une dependance pour laptop pour installer rfkill par defaut + pointer sur les pages de man de wicd et wpa_supplicant? 1000 mercis a Francois, Daniel, tedji (dont j'allais adopter le tuyau) pour le l'indication finale, Jean-Luc Cette lIste vaut toutes les hotlines, j'espere pouvoir etre également utile + tard. Je n'ai jamais compris pourquoi l'on se sert d'aptitude qui ne fait que compliquer les choses et qui est un intermédiaire de plus, donc un problème potentiel en plus. Apt suffit très bien pour les commandes basiques et même plus. Synaptic simplifie énormément la vie... Quant aux paquets cassés, parfois, il suffit de les supprimer/purger puis de les réinstaller pour évacuer le problème. suppression de dépot deb-multimedia et des paquets induits/mis à jour
Bonjour à tous, Je suis sous Debian Wheezy, avec le dépôt deb-multimedia. Étant donné que ce dépôt écrase certains paquets de Debian, est-il possible simplement (sans récupérer un par un dans dpkg.log les paquets mis à jour par deb-multimedia et forcer l'installation de ceux des dépôts de Debian) de mettre à jour tout ces paquets en réinstallant les officiels de Debian ? Dis autrement, est-il possible de revenir à une Debian pure si l'on décide de supprimer ce dépôt... ? Ma question se pose aussi sur les paquets qui ne sont que dans deb-multimedia : est-il possible de tous les supprimer simplement et automatiquement ? (quoique c'est moins délicat à faire manuellement ça, m'enfin bon!) Ça y est, c'est tout propre maintenant :) Je suis tombé en cours de route sur cette page qui peut intéresser certaines personnes (surtout les non anglophones : http://wiki.debian-facile.org/manuel:debianpropre) sur le sujet, entre autres. De plus, la commande $ aptitude search '?narrow(?installed, !?origin(Debian))!?obsolete' permet rapidement d'avoir une idée des paquets (et du nombres) qui ne sont pas officiels, ce qui permet de mieux se situer par la suite dans Aptitude. Merci encore en tout cas de m'avoir mis sur la voie ;) Je sors un peu du sujet, mais dans ma manipulation j'ai eu à un moment donné un paquet sans candidat (il venait de DMO que je n'avais plus dans mes sources), pourtant aptitude search le paquet le trouvait toujours. La commande # aptitude purge ?config-files m'a permis de m'en sortir de ce côté là. J'avoue ne pas très bien avoir saisi ce qu'elle fait, à part purger les fichiers de configuration de vieux paquet. Ici, elle agit bien sur l'index d'Aptitude, non ? Si quelqu'un à une idée ! [OT] Actualizaciones de Firefox y Thunderbird
Hola, Como ya sabréis han sacado actualizaciones de estos dos programas (ambos van ya por la versión 15) pero estoy leyendo las noticias sobre las novedades que presenta Thunderbird 15 con respecto a su interfaz y hay algo que no me cuadra. Dicen que el cambio de las pestañas lo han hecho para seguir la línea de Firefox pero: 1/ Firefox 15 mantiene el mismo estilo de pestañas que la versión anterior. 2/ Thunderbird 15 sí ha cambiado el estilo de las pestañas (ahora son más redondeadas y gordotas) pero no permite ocultar la barra de menús como sí hace Firefox. Es decir, que ahora mismo no hay ninguna correspondencia entre la UI de Firefox y la de Thunderbird... ¿o me estoy perdiendo algo? MKV se oye pero no se ve
Hola a todos Por algunos problemillas con hardware, he actualizado mi kernel a la versión 3.2.0. Además, he decidido configurar perfectamente mi gráfica (Intel + Nvidia, con Nvidia Optimus) y funciona a la perfección con bumblebee, por lo que parece. Ahora viene el problema: intento reproducir videos mkv, que hace dos días reproducí perfectamente, y hoy se oyen pero no se ven ni en Totem (creo que así se llama el reproductor por defecto de gnome) ni en VLC ni en mplayer, se queda el cuadro en negro y no se ve ni el video, ni los subtítulos ni los efectos del propio reproductor. Pessoal, bom dia. Estou precisando customizar os logs do iptables. Até achei uma técnica que funciona, colocando o LOG --log-level 4 no iptables e kernel.warning no /etc/rsyslog.conf, mas desse jeito ele registra os logs do iptables no /var/log/iptables.log e no /var/log/syslog, eu quero que registre apenas no /var/log/iptables.log Também achei outra: Colocando no /etc/rsyslog.conf: :msg, contains, fw kernel. Mas também não funcionou. Alguém tem alguma dica ? Obrigado.

How upstart-job is performing in debian system ?
Dear list,
I have gone through some online docs on ubuntu derived upstar-job mechanism and
its simplicity has drawn my attention. Same time the apparent incompatibility
with
sysv-init is also there. Has anyone is using that in running debian system. How
does it
work ? Does it need to rewrite all /etc/init.d/${scripts} ?

Half-OT: A note for GNOME users :)
If you're a GNOME user, be aware that upstream plans to make a hard
dependency to systemd. I wonder how Debian and Ubuntu will manage this.
I suspect systemd soon or later will will come. I don't welcome this
step, but I guess it will happen. As the case may be, it doesn't make
sense, at least for GNOME users, to learn how to use upstart.

Query about failure of Debian 6 64 bit to swap properly
Hello. In the ongoing saga of the inability of the 64 bit version of Debian 6 to swap properly, so that an i3 CPU with 8GB of RAM and a 40GB swap partition, runs about as fast as an 8086 trying to run MS Windows 3, a possible cause has occurred to me. I have found that the file manager, despite the operating system being 64 bit, cannot cope with a filesize of about 1GB. I can download and delete files with a filesize of up to about 1.2GB, but, if I try to move or copy them, the system crashes, and requires the power button to be held down, to strangle the system, to shut the system down. Sometimes, when this happens, I have to reboot a few times to get the system going again. I am thus wondering whether, with the swap partition beng 40GB, and thus, bigger than the about 1GB maximum filesize that the file manager can cope with, the inability to use the swap partition, is due to the failure of the file manager to cope with files over about 1GB. I can download, copy, and move, files with file size of about 600-700GB, such as CD ISO files, but not much bigger. So, my query is this; is the inability of 64 bit Debian 6, to swap properly, instead using increasing amounts of RAM until it runs out of RAM, then crashing, while having 40GB of unused swap partition allocated and swappiness set to 70, due to the inability of the file manager to cope with filesize greater than 1GB? Hello dear list, I've running an Debian Lenny and can't upgrade to Squeeze for the moment because of special software ... Now the Server crashed two times. The error message is every time (taken from the console): Filesystem dm-2: XFS internal error xfs_trans_cancel at line 1163 of fs/xfs/xfs_trans.c Caller 0xf8s8656d Filesystem dm-2: Corruption of in-memory data dedected. Shutting down filesystem: dm-2 Please umount the filesystem, and rectify the problem(s) The Partition dm-2 is mounted to /var, so I don't have more information from the syslog or dmsg .. On the server is running a Webserver, a (r)syslogd and mysql database. Nightly, filtered logfiles from rsyslogd are imported to the database. This is located on the /var-Partition too. In the Internet I found similar problems here: [1] http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=512779 and here: [2] http://oss.sgi.com/archives/xfs/2011-07/msg00473.html In the second link, someone told that the problem may solved in the kernel 2.6.30. I tried to upgrade to the latest kernel via: deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian-archive/debian/ lenny main deb-src http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian-archive/debian/ lenny main and aptitude update aptitude safe-upgrade but I had no luck, nothing to upgrade. The Server is going to migrate to new software (and Debian) in three month, but until then i need a stable system. So does anyone has an idea how to solve the problem? You have two options as far as I can see. You can either install kernel 2.6.32 from lenny-backports (add deb http://archive.debian.org/debian-backports lenny-backports main to your sources.list) or you should be able to compile your own kernel by using the instructions in the kernel-handbook[1]. But for this ThinkPad T520 the output appears to be pretty accurate for me. On the FTS Esprimo workstation at work the output appears to be quite lacking of detail. Whether everything is correct? Camaleón, thank you for your heuristic answer! I have found the root reason to the problem. I thought some user local .desktop files shadowed the one in /usr/share/applications/. Finally, I found it: ~/.local/share/applications/openoffice.org-impress.desktop. This file was generated from the system-wide one in /usr/share/applications/ as the template. I compared the two files and saw the line order was different, further more, the problem was due to the additional entry Hidden=true! After I deleted this entry, everything was fine. Removing the whole file also works. I don't have any idea why the Hidden=true entry was generated, but it doesn't matter now. Thank you again! IIRC, years ago it was suggested that Debian was going to jump to
upstart¹ as the default booting mechanism but then systemd started to
gain more popularity as a replacement for system v.
With my admin's hat on, I prefer the old and well-know sysvinit because I
don't need anything special for the booting process but I understand that
people with specific requirements (or those called early adopters) are
awaiting for a change.
That said, I'm completetely unaware about the current status for upstart/
systemd in Debian, but according to the above mailing list/announce post
and the wiki², both systems should be already available and operative.

Half-OT: A note for GNOME users :)
If you're a GNOME user, be aware that upstream plans to make a hard
dependency to systemd. I wonder how Debian and Ubuntu will manage this.
I suspect systemd soon or later will will come. I don't welcome this
step, but I guess it will happen. As the case may be, it doesn't make
sense, at least for GNOME users, to learn how to use upstart.

If Ubuntu's sticking to upstart (pretty much a certainty), they'll
figure out a way to run upstart and GNOME; and run consolekit and udev
without systemd. Debian'll have to do the same if it chooses to
default to upstart (very unlikely, but you never know...)
From a sysadmin point of view, unless you want to write upstart jobs,
there nothing much to learn. You can use sysvinit's service daemon
{stop|start|restart} - or upstart's {stop|start|restart} daemon.
I've been following the systemd threads on the Arch mailing lists
since you pointed to them. What I find interesting is that, on the
users' list, people are still hyper-ventilating about systemd and
Lennart Poettering and on the developers' list a decision's been made
to install systemd by default (not default to systemd; not yet
anyway). Nuts! :)

I tried to upgrade to the latest kernel via: deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian-archive/debian/ lenny main deb-src http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian-archive/debian/ lenny main and aptitude update aptitude safe-upgrade but I had no luck, nothing to upgrade. No, of couse, because as it happens with any stable release, Lenny did not provide a kernel upgrade (other than patches) from their usual repo. I don't recall what was the last backported kernel available for Lenny but this would be the easier solution. The Server is going to migrate to new software (and Debian) in three month, but until then i need a stable system. So does anyone has an idea how to solve the problem? You can also get the sources for 2.6.32/2.6.34 from kernel.org and manually compile a new kernel. I usually have to build express kernels by this way for my wheezy and these steps have been working very well: 8.6.1.
