J'ai fait un kill de ff, j'ai déplacé le répertoire de profil, j'ai redémarré, j'ai eu un refus, j'ai remis le rep de profil à sa place initiale et j'ai redémarré. FF s'est lancé. J'ai perdu tous les onglets de la dernière session (pas de "restore"" proposé), mais je peux ouvrir un lien depuis un autre programme comme toi, normalement. Les fichiers lock et .parentlock sont présents et ne l'empêchent pas. Observons combien de temps ça va tenir. Je vais essayer avec et sans hibernation Car, je ne sais pas si ça a un rapport, mais les sorties d'hibernation sont devenues hyper longues (plusieurs minutes avant de retrouver un contrôle clavier-souris ! alors que rien ne semble consommer mémoire et CPU). Or FF est le programme qui consomme le plus de ressources (dans le cas de ma machine), quand de nombreux onglets sont ouverts. PS j'avais renommé le répertoire de profil, en l'occurence ~/.mozilla/firefox/trucbidule.default FF ne voulait plus redémarrer. Je l'ai remis et il a démarré. Dans ~/.mozilla/firefox/trucbidule.default, en supprimant à nouveau .parentlock et lock (qui avaient été recréés par FF), j'ai pu régler le pb 2/ ouvrir un lien depuis un programe tiers (terminal, autre). Al trabajar con el Pc virtualiado como deshabilitar el cursor externo es decir dejar solo el que uswo en la PC virtual, asi es como hace VirtualBox. Algua idea ?? Luis Alvarez

When you "run the instance of Debian on sdaX": what do you have
to do to "access files on sdaY". Please, the whole process: you
boot your "Debian on sdaX" and then...

Mounting a file system (what you call "sdaY" above) is the first thing
you have to do to be able to access the files in it. Actually this is
a bit imprecise, since "sdaY" is "the partition" [1], and you mount the
file system (hopefully) contained in it.

OK: this means that the file system has a notion of file owner
(and group) and will carry that around while you mount it "from"
different operating system instances. Since the file system remembers
UIDs and GIDs (not user and group names), your UIDs should be identical
across your different OS instances (you said this is so). And then
you shouldn't have a problem accessing your files.

No, but you should be able to assess the current state of affairs:
just do an "ls -l" on one of the files you expect to have access

Hi, I'm trying to get (1) to work on Debian Stretch. >From what I understand, only "qca9982" v1 is supported on Debian, however, (3) supports qca9882 v2. That brings me to some questions: - Am I on the right track by trying to build the firmware using backports from (3)? - Can I build the firmware in an VM an move that firmware to that wireless box? In other words, what should I do to get qca9882 v2 to work on Debian Stretch?
