I hate to write the list about this but I'm not having much luck with keeping a default route after reboot. I was able to keep it with a statement in /etc/network/interfaces using route add -net 0.0.0.0 netmask 0.0.0.0 dev eth0 metric 1 under Debian 2.1. With the upgrade to 2.2, this no longer

I use the XF86Setup program. I found that when I told it I had a PS2, my mouse would stop working in the setup program. Use the default Microsoft mouse and you should be good to go. (But answer the rest of the questions or nothing else will work for you grin) Good Luck
