either, but playmidi works (poorly) with this setup. There seem to be
many missing voices.
Timidity, which converts the .mid files to .wav format and uses GUS patch
files, sounds much better on my hardware.

this, as well as bug #16186 against wu-ftpd-academ. Both bugs are still
open.
From the package description, it looks like proftp might be a way around

Actually, I have load all the binary CD, the problem is how to access
this cd rom to set up those packages ?
The first option on the dselect menu is [A]ccess. Select that, select
cdrom and answer the questions which follow.

will have to configure magicfilter. I use apsfilter rather than
magicfilter, so can't help you there (I had to rename the filters to
reflect my printer, since it wasn't one on the built-in list in
apsfilter). Configuring magicfilter should make the necessary changes to
/etc/printcap.

files, along with their attributes. I know Windows Explorer displays the

Has anyone on the list been able to get traplayer (a non-X interface to
Real Audio's raplayer) to work with Debian 1.3.1? I keep getting an
unexpected end of file error with it. Could this be related to the bugs

bjc600 driver was simply a matter of renaming several filter files, since
there is really only one filter and it captures the driver name from the
filter ame. Possibly the same approach would work with magicfilter.
