do not have glibc2.1 (=libc6) is not installed. I was wondering if anyone
has run into this problem and would anyone recommend downgarding to libc6
2.07?
Any help on this would be helpful and deeply appreciated.

the partition table is updated.
I have Debian booting from /dev/hda3 and the partition I am trying
to make work is /dev/hda1.
Does anyone have an idea of how to go about fixing it?
I appreciate any help!

I know that my password is correct because I still can receive mail even

there isn't a debian sendmail 8.10 package yet but there is the sasl
packages (libsasl7 and libsasl-dev).
Actually there is a debian package of sendmail 8.10.
You can find it at http://www.debian.org/Packages/unstable/mail/sendmail.html
