the 'toram' is good if you have 1gb of memory. Though this may be for
using X with it, if you use the cheatcode '2' i.e., 'knoppix 2' it boots
with out X and is quite useable, will burn dvd-r, cd-r etc. Maybe
'knoppix 2 toram' would do it.

good program to image a partition, the fewer partions the easier it

this eliminates the error message but Vmware doesn't run.

You need 'ntfsresize'. I have 'used' this to shrink a ntfs partion
(whole disk) to create free space for another OS. Google 'ntfsresize'
Use lilo, or your favorite bootloader to boot bothe OS's.

build an iso image (I normally just pipe mkisofs to cdrecord for CDs)
so it knows the image size ... but even with those I still get media
unknown errors ... and that's using the media supplied with the drive,
in this case a DVD-R

Dunno, I use apt-move a little differently. 'apt-move get' to sync the
packages.gz file, then 'apt-move move' I would try 'not' using the delete
option until you get a cache built.

its not always a out benchmarks. The low heat and quiet operation make
it usefull for 'make your own appliance' type of system. You can
install one and forget about it.

like you may have dl'd an alpha iso.

use, i.e Testing has the same vesion of Evolution that Woody has, no
Abiword, etc...

card has its own driver in Xfree86 4.2.1 (mga). I am not familiar with
the use of this card and a LCD monitor or framebuffer technology though.

I think to be LSB compliant a distro has to be able to install rpm's. RPM
seems to be the LSB package format.
