Not completely true. fvwm2 (at least) has a -rpath bug, that makes
it always search it's X libraries in /usr/X11R6/lib/. This causes
it to segfault when you install xlibc6 3.3-5 or higher.

the other I don't know).
Note: In my file heirarchy their is this
/usr/bin/X11-which is a link to... /usr/X11R6/bin? does this have any bearing
on this problem?
No.

Look at /usr/include/limits, line 52.
Probably /usr/include/linux isn't in your search path. I think the error
message goes away if you add the following flags to gcc:
-I/usr/include -I/usr/include/linux

If that is true (and I don't know, really), then the answer
would be:
ExecStop It exec \
sh -c kill -9 $(ps aux | grep xlock | grep -v grep | awk '{print $2}')

You definately need to upgrade you gs to gs-aladdin-4.03.
Or, use the new gs-aladdin-5.0, but that's hamm only.

Well, you are using debian-1.3.x, codenamed bo.
We (the developpers) are working on debian-2.0 (not released yet),
and we haven't quite finished with that yet

Thanks. Where do I find it? And why didn't dselect tell me about this
dependency?
You find it in debian. Same section where you

use the other shell). Does anyone know of an easier way to become

If you try the same thing with some other shell that doesn't have this
protection, it will probably work as you would expect.

For bo, on the other hand, it should work, after you read most of

Can you explain why it doesn't work?
cause I'm an incompetent, lazy and useless maintainer, that's why.
Or, put it differently
unless you
give us eighter the postscript file, or at least in what way you created
it. I think the'res something wrong with the postscript file.

While patching some source code I noticed that all the files
that were patched were now group owned by root !?!
The command I used was:
patch
tetex-bin (and maybe tetex-base too).
That should solve his problems.

Yes, I got that error too. Basically the dependancy should have
been on netcdfg3, and not on netcdf3. Install netcdfg3, and it will

They are in xlib6-dev (I think) if you've got a bo system (Debian-1.3.x).
For hamm (Debian 2.0, unreleased), they are in xlib6g-dev.

I will have to look at those bugs some day. I'm not sure when I'll find

hamm.
