i set the servername to www.domain.com, and ServerAlias to domain.com
*.domain.com
if i go in with anything else than www.domain.com i get in my browser
a display of the ip of the machin instead of www.domain.com
any way to solve this too?

While this works, it is insecure. A user can easily run a command like

Here is my problem: I am trying to install a software (Steam), and from
time to time during the update (it gets the files from the net), it ends
up either with "Connection reset by Peer" or it just hangs.
I am not behind a router.
J'ai installe un reseau local qui est relié au
reste du reseau par unu machine linux configure comme routeur.
La connexion a internet se fait via squid. Les
machines du reseau local tourne sous windows.
J'ai installe identd sur ces machines.
L'identification au niveau de squid ne se fait
