errors when writing a CD; I have tried to use
this CD writer under windows: it works; so I suppose
it may be a driver problem (I use a 2.2.13 kernel).
So I am trying to compile an old kernel (2.0.38)

it compiles fine (./configure and make) but when I

gnus-truncate-string in pgnus; so I think it may be loaded
