Start X with startx -- -dpi 75... Assuming you are using XFree 4.01 ... Edit /etc/X11/xdm/Xservers (if you use xdm) and/or /etc/X11/xinit/Xserverc file adding -dpi 75 at the end of file. Change the order so that 75dpi fonts come before 100dpi in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 and in /etc/X11/fs/config. Restart xdm (if you use it) /etc/init.d/xdm restart Kevin
