Joost, Thanks a lot for pointing out that aqua-style button script! I have it working now (luckily for me, I'm using Debian 'testing', unlike Joerg). I don't know the Gimp very well, but this is how I got it to work: 1) In Gimp, select Xtns/Perl/Server 2) Run 'perl aqua.pl' from the command

I'm interested in creating 3D-buttons, ideally with a rounded, ray-traced look. Anybody have any advice? I am hoping that someone has scripted one of the major graphics programs to help automate this process. I.e. it seems that it should not be too difficult to have a front-end script offer
