Re: Switch from static IP to DHCP
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far way, someone said... I have to switch from static ipadress to dhcp. I installed dhcp clientpackages but my system still uses the static ip adress. How do I properly remove this and which packages do I have to uninstall? You don't need to uninstall anything; just change /etc/init.d/network to configure your networking using dhcp rather than your static IP. -- -- Phil Brutsche [EMAIL PROTECTED] There are two things that are infinite; Human stupidity and the universe. Switch from static IP to DHCP
I have to switch from static ipadress to dhcp. I installed dhcp clientpackages but my system still uses the static ip adress. How do I properly remove this and which packages do I have to uninstall?
