USB support in Linux
Hey, I need to get my new USB port going in Linux, but I don't know how to get it working. I'm using Debian slink with the 2.2.1 kernel (I ran make config, but I didn't see anything about USB). How would I get around to doing this? Thanks, Cameron Matheson
USB support in Linux?
Hi All, My research group is considering developing of simple A/D converter for USB bus. Of course I'd like to provide it with the Linux support. I'm interested if the USB is supported by Linux? Where can I get the info about writing the drivers for USB devices for Linux (on-line preferred)? -- TIA Wojciech M. RE: USB support in Linux?
USB support is still in development. It has come a long way in the 2.3.xx series of Kernels. The best starting point is none other than www.linux-usb.org I've been trying to get a USB scanner and modem working, and I've found the people on the mailing list to be most supportive! Cheers, John Gay
