This can be generated in MS-DOG edit by: hold down the Ctrl+V, and press [ BUT - I must do this in vi So that my scripts will generate a readable report. To enter any non-printable charachter in vi just do Ctrl-V and _then_ charachter to enter (like Esc). Alex Y. -- _ _( )_ (
