Anyone know if hibernate in XFCE is meant to be not there, or just
something with my install?

I don't know sid, but some time ago when I was creating a custom install
of wheezy with lxde, the suspend and hibernate options
Since the point release over the weekend, neither of my debian boxes
(32 bit AMDx86 and 64 bit Intel Atomizer) seem to be hibernating.
Is everybody else seeing this?
