Howdy,
A little concerning that one has to go through that.
:-(
I feel releaved that I was not the only one with that problem :)
I took another approach, which worked for me: I installed in a virtual maschine
a fresh Squeeze version, added squeeze lts-repo and tar-zipped /etc/apt/ and
I am also in that same position as Tobias'- and I suspect others as well.
So - has anyone got a method for a fix yet ?
I thought about pulling off debian-archive-keyring package, but that tells me I

I tried the following and it works for me:

Hello world,
my apt on squeeze-lts complains that the updates could not be verified. This

root@web1-tk2:~# dpkg -l | grep keyring
ii debian-archive-keyring

Howdy,
While you're waiting for others with answers, have you run apt-get

?as current as Humanly possible.. Beyond being current, I'm also
looking to see if you receive any related errors if/when you run that

Yes I have ran apt-get update several times. Does squeeze-lts a another key

You have hit it.
Have I ?
So you want the _archive_ keyring.
I have debian-archive-keyring installed as previously described. Unitl a few
days ago I was able to receive updates from squeeze-lts. But not anymore. I
tried installing a debian-archive-keyring from sid but this one does not
