What actions will take place if you have a REDIRECT in the

In the $default$.junkmail file
REDIRECT [EMAIL PROTECTED] \IMail\Declude\SPAM.cfg
And in the \IMail\Declude\domain.com directory
Xuser.junkmail

The per-user settings are always used if they exist, so Declude JunkMail
will never see the other default/per-domain config files.
One of our clients sends mail to an external domain (federalpacific.com)
and the message never arrives. It gets caught in federalpacific.com's
spam filter. After contacting federalpacific.com's email admin, I found
that they have a script that searches the headers of incoming mail and

Here's an alternative I am using. REDIRECT was not an option when I built
this. So this is what I did.
In the IMail web interface (8383), I have added a couple pages which allow
me to change the user's spam filtering level to one of 3 choices (0=WARN,
1=SUBJECT, 2=BOUNCE). This web script

That's why the X-RBL-Warning: header was added. Since the E-mail had you
listed as one of the recipients, your actions were used as well as the
outgoing actions.

So an email that is NOT cc'ed to someone on a filtered domain will not
be filtered?
I did change all the WARNs to IGNOREs *after* the problem was reported,
so...
OK, that makes sense. So it should work fine now.
Great. Thanks Scott.

Correct (only the outgoing actions from the \IMail\Declude\global.cfg file
will be used, and they are set to IGNORE in your case).

Is it possible to create a 'per domain' fromfile (blacklist) or
fromfilter (filter file).
I suppose that I'll need to create a test for each of these domains in
the global.cfg file and assign a global weight of 0.
Then in the per domain junkmail file, I'll change the weight/action?

You can create as many blacklists/filters as you want, so you could create
one that would only be used on a specific domain.

Right now, because I am wearing so many hats, I have not had a chance to
look at and use programs to delete the held messages after 5 days, which
is when I manually delete them.
I hold all, then after 5 days if no one has complained about where is my
e-mail, I manually delete.

I've been using Junkmail for a little over a year.
I've continued using I-mail rules also.
I've made 2 changes that cut down my spambox tremendously.
1) We subscribed to Sniffer and gave it a weight high enough to hold
anything tripping it.
2) I've been slowly moving my catchphrases from I-mail
That's interesting. When you move a rule over to Declude, do you make the decision
based a certainty
of minimal false positives or what?
As for SpamReview, here's what I've been doing to simplify viewing of likely spam. I

Most of the rules I had were looking for phrases in the header.
Those had virtually no chance of false positives.
I moved those to my Declude word filter file with a weight that will
hold them or, if they fail other tests, will delete them.
I only use Hold and Delete actions so my spambox only
We have similar circumstances in the email systems that we host. We
currently trap more than 80% of incoming messages as spam with our
Message Sniffer software. The average for all reporting systems is
something just over 70%.
I think Declude w/ Message Sniffer is the way to go if you have an

I highly recommend Sniffer, although we don't have it.
I did the demo and liked the results.
But with only about 300 mail boxes, I can not justify the cost to the
boss.

Sorry about being brain dead and not checking. The first two were rejected
for being listed but I did send to blackhole and it showed that it went
thru.
The ol' brain isn't functioning to much today, my wife started going into
