Last month I've created SPF TXT records for some domains on our DNS.
Some days ago I've added this two tests and now I can see not realy good
results.

To confirm, you're talking about Declude 1.79?
Correct. I don't recall off-hand which version added the support for
ignoring forwarded E-mails to work around the problem with IMail v8.1, but
it was after the latest released version, so running 1.79 will work
fine. If anyone is running a beta

So can I continue to use the latest non-beta or do I need to beta? How
stable is the beta?
It would probably be better to run the Declude beta. It is very stable,
and will help ensure that nothing weird happens when using IMail v8.11 wit

That's why I waited for 8.11 :)

I know when Imail 8.1 was initially release there were some issues with
Imail and Declude?
I just noticed 8.11 is out and figured I'd upgrade but want to make sure
my Junkmail doesn't break! :)

Also - does anyone have the current ULR to the latest Junkmail manual
and download? I can't find it on
Scott, what's the limit on weight? 2-byte signed int? 4-byte signed int?
4-byte signed int, so it can go from about -2147483647 to 2147483647
(giving you 31 flags to play with).

Gotcha. You're right, it would be much nicer if they had an auto-delist
mechanism after reports stopped coming in from an IPor possibly if it
could be determined that an IP was no longer tied to a particular MAC
address. Spammers might use auto-delist mechanisms to their advantage (by

You can mimic this functionality by setting up distinct binary weights for
each test and defining actions by weightrange.
e.g. Tests have weights of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, ... so every total weight can be
decomposed. With this scheme the "weight" is really no longer a weight, but
instead is a bit flag o
Any chance of getting an AND / AND NOT kind of test so we could set up
different weights for an open proxy depending on whether it shows up on a
DUL or DYNA list?

I htink this functionality has been requested before, but in a different
context. I cannot recall what that was.

I am not running my own DNS Servers. My ISP will have to add an A record for
me, correct?
Whoever handles your DNS would need to add the TXT record. Depending on
that situation, that could be you, your Internet provider, or a company
that the DNS has been outsourced to.
Samantha,
You have 4 basic options:
1) Invest occasional time and run with the basic configuration.
2) Invest daily time, collaborating with the excellent help on this list,
including Scott.
3) Outsource all or part of your configuration with a company like Mail
Pure.
4) Outsource your entire
