[Declude.JunkMail] non delivery receipts on imail
I am using IMAIL 8.11, windows 2003, declude version 4 (or whatever fancy name it has now) A few of my clients have mailing lists they send out which result in quite a few NDR (non delivery receipts). (The emails are sent from a different server using jmail and the ndr messages go back to the imail server if they cant be delivered.) These ndr's then clog up the imail queue causing a few temporary problems especially when they mail out during the middle of the business day. The problem I have is that imail tries to deliver all the ndr email as well as normal email and the imail queue manager falls over until I restart it. Is there a rule I can put in the declude config file which will put any ndr emails into a hold folder? (kind of like the blacklist rules) The idea I have is to have any ndr files put nto a folder on the imail server, then in the middle of the night, have a script which puts them all into the spool and deleiver them while the server is quiet. [Declude.JunkMail] HOLD action and %DATE% variable
Hi, When you specify HOLD F:\Hold\%DATE% The date shows up as ddMMM Is there a way to have this show up as mmdd as it is much easier to sort and keep track? To the best of my knowledge there is no way to customize the date.
