Inspired by the recent PERCENT test discussion I thought someone might
be  interested  in  open relay testing programs.  The following is not
exhaustive as you might imagine but I've used all of these.


Online you can test at:
http://www.ordb.org/submit/
but if you fail then you are added to the database.

or http://www.abuse.net/relay.html
   has 2 modes - one of which tries to actually send a message.
   
or http://www.openrelaycheck.com
   has a program you download and can use to check -
   provides  a realistic test but not exhaustive and will not find the
   same vulnerabilities that ordb does.

or http://www.monkeys.com/mrt/
   the  copyright is very restrictive but if you want to test yourself
   like  ORDB  tests  then this will do it.  In Perl for Unix but will
   run on Windows with Perl 5.8.
   
http://www.whitehats.com/library/mailrelay/  has a page that shows the
19 or so common tests - very useful.
