I think that its a good idea. Esp. If its in diff locations. Then everyone
gets a chance to be involved esp. Those of us who could get away with doing
it locally rather than asking to get funding to go out of town which would
never happen.

Would be very interested.
Was talking to Gary B (who runs the list) – he also has been thinking of
setting up a library where people can contribute code for benefit of others,
and pick up others tricks.I for instance do all my printing with Rave by

Does BARcamp mean alcohol is involved? That would make it more entertaining!
I think you are correct Richard in that many people on this list are pretty
busy day to day and find it difficult to find the time. That's pretty much
the category I am in. I guess I'm also unsure exactly what I would
I'd also be very interested.
A one day event, is likely to work much better than the 1 - 2 hours each

Yeah - a barcamp concept sounds great to me. A full day every so often
sounds like much better 'bang for buck' to me than a few hours in the
evening. I can't speak for the other devs on the Accredo team, but I
would definitely try to attend one in Auckland if at all possible.

CodeCompletion in all the places he shows yep, I knew all that stuff.
He basically shows N variations of the same thing. I was kinda hoping he
would also mention using dotted unit names, like 'pseudo' namespsaces - code
completion
I could probably justify traveling a couple times a year for some training.
