I think Christoph wanted to upload the templates to this repository:

Should media.libreoffice.org be an alternative or rather for internal document

Hi Bernard,Of course it's sad to see some of the community go, but it's very

Hi all,
I just checked the current release notes for 3.5 and noticed that the new
handles were already mentioned. Thanks to Astron, Micheal and Tim :).
Another one of my suggestions was to include a dialogue to customize a table
style. Thats my mock-up:

Hi all,
I improved my proposal again, now it has less options and uses the sidebar.
Also a pattern can now be used as a predefined formatting.
I hope the number of options isn't too high. Do you think one should be able to
name a pattern like one can do with the gradients?

Hi all,
AFAIK there has been no progress on the new default style for Writer. I
modified a Template by a guy named Yatish Shèlké, who posted the original on
the LO Facebook page
(http://templates.libreoffice.org/template-center/simple-writer-template).
This one is very Word-like, but I think

since I just received Kévins mail, I now took the time to browse Mireks

There are many great things in those drafts, but I especially like are the
color codes and the command reorganization. In addition to the
Hi guys,
There's been a lot of discussion regarding the furure of Libreoffice's design
on this list in the past, I think now it's ime to actually do something of
substance.
IMHO,we should start to think about how the menu organization could be improved
and write down what we want, I guess

Hi Mirek, *
I personally would love to see LibreOffice in native gtk+ :)
Does anyone know how complicated VCL is? I guess this would also mean a huge
code cleanup, maybe making it more attractive to contribute to the project.
I'd be good if some devs could give a guesstimate how much of this can

Thank you for this; once the extension icon is there, you may want to
upload it to the LibreOffice wiki.
Nice icons, thanks!

Hi Stefan,
Thanks for the encouragement :)
I adjusted the icons to follow the Tango guidelines and added a folder icon.
I used a regular puzzle piece instead of the triangular one, since IMHO the
triangle is hard to recognize. The svg contains some versions using it, though.
The second file
Hi guys,
I made some new icons for the Start Center so that we can replace the 'legacy'
ones:

What do you think? @Steffan: I think placing the jigsaw piece inside the
document logo makes the icon look to busy.

Hi Thorsten,

The folder icon is pretty much the same as Stefans. I am still wondering
whether the small template icon would be too hard to recognize.

Hi Cédric, *
I wanted to ask whether you are still interested in implementing the options to
specify a table background and also have the time. Or is it still to early,
since 3.5 isn't rolled out yet?
To you and anyone else: If you have any opinion or stuff to be added to the
spec, please

around, but now its orientated as before and I use the colors
Hi Stefan,
I have some documents I did for school, e.g. a term paper in math with a lot of
formulas, protocols of physics lessens with some sketches and a presentation
with a chart. Does it matter that they are written in German?
