One point to consider are the different themes in LibreOffice using the same iconset at the moment (or staying with a design without thight relation to LibreOffice). Some shading/shadowing (perhaps coloring) modifications need to be done in order to fit with the Oxygen Theme or Crystal Theme. For smaller sizes Paolo already worked on Tango Theme, but this need to be adapted for larger scales too. Another point is extraction of single SVG files from the source, even if this seems no longer to be necessary for Gnome 3 (using high resolution bitmaps). I can't spend time on this topic at the moment, but I don't want it to be forgotten, so I just mention it...
