(see my message on that bug report) by issuing (essentially) the same

I'm running under Edgy, hal 0.5.7.1-0ubuntu17.
Some mandatory volume.disc properties aren't availably for some discs.
In particular, is_vcd, is_svcd, and is_videodvd are missing for blank
CDR discs, audio CDs, and probably others that I haven't tested yet.

i found the problem:
it's the sonypi-module. this is not working properly with vaio-laptops of the
fs-series.
deleted the module from the modules-directory, so it doesn't get loaded at
boot-time.

This is on a regular gnome Edgy install.
Steps to recreate bug:
1. Left click on desktop.
2. Left click and drag. (Create bounding box.)
3. Press a keyboard key.3
No keyboard/mouse input can be done unless you wait ~5 seconds and left
click.

Hi Thomas.
This is not reproducible on Edgy .. I can scale upto 36 and back.
There were a few windows on SOME (2-4) of the workspaces - not all.
I am not sure of the number of rows - but I must have tried with 1,2 and 4.
