I can state that opening files read/write remotely via sftp:// with OOo
in Ubuntu feisty works as expected. People who had that problem as well:
please recheck and report back.
What doesn't work now is opening files via sftp:// that have only read
permissions. OOo reports a common error in the

Looking at you printingbuginfo.txt I see you have no PPD (printer driver)
installed, I assume you have the Lexmark T520.
According to the Lexmark website this printer supports the following languages:
PostScript Level 3 and PCL6.
PostScript printers only need a printer specific PPD file
I can't get thumbnails in symlinked directories either.
/home/tom/Desktop/2007-05/ is a symlink pointing to
/home/tom/pictures/photos_archive/2007-05/.
If I open ~/Desktop/2007-05/ in Nautilus, and then double-click one of
the photos to open it with gthumb, then go to the browser view, no
i added information, but alas, because there's no information provided,
awaiting further review bug status, i'm setting it to Confirmed. Feel
free to change it to whatever fits it better.

Probably my problem is the same as yours, lets see: I copied files from
a SMB server to my local desktop. The original files have read-only
permissions and so have the copies on my desktop. The result is that I
can not modify or delete the files on my desktop anymore. Very silly
bug!

I can not confirm this - /usr/share/gnome/help/user-
guide/C/gosnautilus.xml is part of the package gnome-user-guide and is
installed and available at my system. If there is any link broken I can
not find it - please be more precise.

If you install cdbs without installing the devscripts package you will
get an error when running cdbs-edit-patch because debclean is not
present. debclean is provided by devscripts, so cdbs should have a
dependency on devscripts.

I've noticed this behavior on my Feisty 7.04 install. To recreate this
problem for yourself, do the following:
1) Connect a USB storage device (or any device that creates a drive icon on
the desktop)
2) Right-click the desktop icon for the device once the system has mounted it
and click

I also like F-spot better and think it is a better default, although
maybe the dependency on Mono makes it too big to fit on the single
Live/Install CD.
In any case, the UI in the preference area should be improved. You
should just able to select 'Gthumb', 'F-Spot', or Digikam, and it
would apply

Open a text file with very long lines. I'm not sure what the limit is
but my test case is a 30k sql file with a single insert on 1 line. I'll
attach a screenshot if I can but essentially the line wraps on itself
and becomes illegible.

I have this issue with Ubuntu Feisty + amd64 (on Core2 Duo) + Beryl.
Other screensavers do not seem to have the issue. Braid locks the
machine for a good 2 minutes, but if I click on another screensaver in
the list the click is queued and eventually control is restored when
that SS's preview pops
I still notice this in Synaptic under Feisty. It's quite annoying.

The problem is in broken link to

results, not in file presents.
