I got this error on Feisty 7.04 and it has totally broken Ubuntu for me.

When I installed openoffice.org-gnome it also installed openoffice.org-
gtk. Those are the only two packages I installed and it worked! Thanks
to Christian and Fred (for bringing the fix to launchpad)!
When I run on the command line, I still get this:

I'm seeing this too with a Radeon R250 [Mobility FireGL 9000] both in
initially rendering pages and changing pages. Moving windows around
does not seem to be affected (as one of the upstream bugs suggests.)

GNOME displays the Main Menu window.
Click New Menu button. The button dims momentarily but does not open the
Directory Properties menu as it does under Feisty.
The New Item button has no effect either.

Well, they do work. Only they open the new windows under other windows (so I
did not see them).
