my memory. Memtest ran for hours without complainig and I have 2gig ram,

Since freetype 2.3.0 there are a lot of pdf files that are broken with poppler
(evince).
With freetype = 2.3.0 fonts are not rendered at all in such pdf files. I think

I installed the rhythmbox-dbgsym package after following Sebastien's
instructions and did another backtrace.

Segfault when iPod with Rockbox is connected
Copying publish-calendar.glade from /usr/share/evolution/2.12/glade -
/usr/lib/evolution/2.12/plugins fixed it for me. Thanks Isaac.
It fixed the problem on two machines for me two.

1. Boot from gutsy live CD on a system capable of supporting visual effects
(I'm using a dell d620).
2. Open appearance preferences from system-preferences, select none.
3. Close appearance preferences.
4. Reopen appearance preferences, select Normal.
