Not sure that's realistic. Changing the dialog to use 480 only would
likely be on detriment on standard desktop use and be a real limitation
for most of user only to benefit to some special cases. Other
applications might be required to work on those device, not sure that's

I upgraded alsa-utils this morning (a couple of hours ago) which was
supposed to show a notification asking me to run asoundconf set-default-

nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in remove_one_stack()
The same thing just happened to me. Gutsy has been running without a hitch
since updating in October. Running on a dual-boot machine.
Today's scenario:
Ubuntu running without any problems
Restarted computer using icon in upper right-hand corner
Started XP-Pro SP2 through Grub
Indeed I am experiencing the bug. Very irritating, but the source seems
to be found so hopefully it gets fixed soon!

I have the same problems using the pdfs from http://www.mvv-muenchen.de.
I am using an old LaserJet 4 over Network (JetDirect). The timetables are no
problem, but the footpath (graphic-pdf) won't print. With kpdf printing works
fine.

sound juicer extracts cd fine but when wont convert the music files
using gtkpod. It loads the music on to playlist for you and does
everything but convert the music onto your ipod. Always get a message
about files not being .m4a. The ones on

Hi, you need to install the restricted package with the command
sudo aptitude install ubuntu-restricted-extras
In the preferences window of sound juicer choose the MP3 ripping
profile.
iPods don't play the open Ogg Vorbis file type.
