I've been using Hardy on a new laptop for a few days and have run into a
few bugs related to GPM. See #194719 for those details. Twice now I've
also had GPM eat up RAM, to the point that the process was consuming all
available (2GB)
I got this bug in Hardy. Yet, what is more interesting, now after week I
can't change even wired network settings, as they got dropped silently
too, in similar behaviour.
Question is - do this happens on clean install? I have Hardy from Alpha
3 and have updated it regularly. As I know, usually
I'm still having this issue, after a clean install of hardy alpha 5

I've been able to recreate this using gnome-system-tools version
2.21.92-0ubuntu1 and system-tools-backends version 2.5.7-0ubuntu1. It
seems to me that the issue lies with system-tools-backends as it
continues to run in the background:

When this bug happens, the below (identical) lines are written to
~/.xsession-errors. The logout dialog appears at the same time as the
second time this message is logged. It appears as if it gives up trying
to connect to PowerManager after a given time.

yes! I finally got the cover art working (on gtkpod) by compiling the libgpod
0.6.0 with PIXBUF installed...
I guess it would work on Rhythmbox too, so I put the download/install script
below so you guys could fix it too:
apt-get -y install libgpod2 libgpod-common libgpod-dev libmp4v2-0
Originally, this bug didn't seem to happen until I created another user
account.
I've re-installed and updated Gutsy, and now I can't replicate this bug.
I made some desktop folders and files, created another user account, and
logged out/rebooted all without any problems. After doing this Update
I've no idea how relevant this is but both my Hardy systems are detected
as ubuntu-7.04:

Marking as Confirmed. In Gutsy, copy a column of data from gnumeric.
Close gnumeric then try to paste in gedit. Gone. No data to paste.
Work around:
sudo apt-get install glipper
One less annoyance. Glipper should be installed by default in Hardy.

live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy

Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work
on getting it fixed in the actively developed release. You can find out

Test document appears to render correctly with acroread (version 8)
under gutsy. Document looks OK under evince, but font kerning looks
slightly mushed together. Readable, but not perfect. Only arial font
installed under .playforlinux which is a wine gaming port, so I don't
think its available

'sh' syntax
I'm in hardy right now, and this is the situation:
the ipod plugin /usr/lib/rhythmbox/plugins/ipod/libipod.so depends on libgpod3.
ldd on /usr/lib/libgpod.so.3 shows this:

Triaged to Incomplete. Couldn't duplicate on my gutsy machine with same
version of evince. Compared acroread (version 8) with evince and
printed page 7. Slight differences in font size and page position, but
both usable. Evince cut the blue vertical artwork on the left side.
