I've done a complete reinstall of Hardy Alpha 6 and all the plugins are
installed automatically. When I try to activate the Upnp plugin in
still says failed. I think this is not a good behavior. You're
presenting a clean installation which fails to work in some parts.

The word crash in the title may be misleading, I think. The precise
symptom is that gnome panel and all its applets disappear, then reappear
(and the new location is not added). There is no crash report in
/var/crash. The automatic bug reporting tool is also not run. So I am
not sure

applied after logging out and in again.

I tried to map win-l to lock the screen by using the gnome shortcuts
dialog. Surprisingly it does not work. I mapped the win key to Mod4, and
it works for example to open a terminal with win-t, but not to lock the
screen

absorbed 650 MBytes of memory over a period of 10 days running time
before I noticed.
