uninstall all pulseaudio related packages and reinstall it (or reinstall
simply ubuntu-desktop) resolve problem for me under hardy

Apparently, currently on Intel MacBook Pros not only the keyboard is not

The latest updates to libcanberra (0.6-0ubuntu1) and ubuntu-sounds (0.8)
fix this issue, in that the controls are no longer disabled and the
ubuntu sound theme now appears correctly as a choice of sound theme.
I'm going to file a seperate bug about the window button sound effects

Starting with intrepid, the drive mount applet cannot mount luks-
encrypted volumes.
To reproduce:
- insert encrypted usb stick
- cancel the password dialog
- click on the drivemount applet button for the drive and select the mount
Confirmed here. A quick check shows that the applet neither calls gnome-
mount (which it should), nor issues d-bus calls. It doesn't work for
internal drives either.

Making sure the appropriate help system is installed by default is the
right fix for this. It seems to work fine on intrepid, tested with both

I did more tests.
Totem seems to update music file length on the fly
It also shows incorrect bitrate and length during first few seconds of
playback, but then updates the information
to reflect right length and average bitrate.
Or in other words it determines the length, on the fly, and it is
right, recommends are installed by default but python-coherence doesn't
fit on the CD so it's not recommended in intrepid

in hardy-updates and intrepid, what version are you using exactly?
