tried and works fine is: When you plug your camera a dialog is presented
to you asking what to do in that dialog there's a unmount button, click
on it, then start f-spot->Photo->Import and select the same device
again? does that w
that's a warning from the plugin that prevents your system to go to
suspend without finished the burning process, is gnome-power-manager up
and working? it communicates with that program.

Thanks for your email. last night the condition re-occurred every time
I hit the send / receive key. A screen asked for the password for the
smtp server and then the pop server but the emails were not then sent or
received.
This morning evolution mail is working fine again.
Well, I'm not literally taking care of this, but just giving some
attention to it :)
Not fixed yet.
