I did another session of tries.

I would like to confirm something similar.
It looks like 'Total sent' (or received) amount of bytes is kept in a 32bit
variable and is wrapped around each 4GB sent.
You will never see total sent larger than 4GB. When the wrap happens you can
see the transfer rate graph go to zero for a moment.

This bug has been bothering me in Hardy, Intrepid and Jaunty. Rhythmbox
and Banshee alike. In Hardy with Rhythmbox channels that failed would
sometimes refuse to load again until I restarted the program. In Jaunty
with Banshee I can restart them easily but it's still annoying.

I tried Nicholas' workaround and it seem to work. Now my Walkman its
recognized as MSC and I can browse and add files with no problems. Now I
theres another problem. Any program (mtp-detect, Rhythmbox, Gnomad2)
that tries to connect via MTP fails. This wouldn't be a problem but the
device only
Im using Jaunty and keep the error but dont is for misconfugration proxy
. Now, Rhythmbox search plugin decoder for txt/html .

In gnome-network-properties, when one tries to change from proxy
settings to direct internet connection, it requires Ubuntu to restart
(not just reset the X's), the button to reset (the connection settings)
doesn't work. It should, as in other versions of Ubuntu, apply the
v4l2 cams are confirmed to work.
I have a v4l1-only cam that I would like to test as well, but it looks
like it's not supported at all in Jaunty - either this, or I broke it

the player hangs when i click on a wmv file to play.. it doesn't happen
when i open the file with Totem, and it didn't used to happen before i
upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04.. eventually i have to force quit the
