Well, I solved this problem by reinstalling the system from scratch. I
know this isn't even a workaround, but it works. Now I'm using Jaunty
amd64 on my HP 6510b and mounting works well. I think the issue can
appear after upgrade from previous versions...did you upgrade or
installed
It seems that a fix is commited and is intregrated at least in Jaunty (Addons
- Tools - Hash for duplicates).
It worked for an example picture, I've tested.
Can someone else please confirm if it works now in Jaunty for him, too?

My computer can´t generate a thumbnail for video files. However it works for

delay. Upon further investigation, the delay is just on sound output:
the opposite side hears audio immediately. This suggests some kind of

I'm using Jaunty, 9.04, and I have this problem as well. For me, it's

I've just added the project Gconf to the bug because this seems to be a
Gconf problem. I've also linked an upstream bug about it.
The problem is not the gnome-settings-daemon doesn't mark for
translations the strings, neither the translated strings doesn't show
