I'm seeing the same thing on a June 2009 MacBook Pro (though in my case
the comparison base was mplayer, not kaffeine). If I play a video in
mplayer after boot, it comes up in normal colours. If I then play it in
totem, it comes up in weird colours, and after that mplayer does the
same thing.
In what I think may be a duplicate bug report to the one already given
in this thread, someone has posted a patch that may improve this
functionality. I have not tested it, though.

I have a very similar problem in 9.10 on a Dell Mini 9.
When I boot into Ubuntu, the battery will charge to full whether plugged
in before or after boot. However, once the battery is charged to full,

Every time I use the dictionary applet and then close the little window
containing the word definition, a frame shadow remains on the desktop.
The shadow is only on the desktop and not on any window overlapping the
certain area. For any

Sorry, like I said, I'm new here, so I wasn't sure what the proper
procedure was for reporting a bug. And I'm also not sure if it's a
problem with nautilus or Xorg, so is there a way to classify it under
both?

tutorial. CBT nuggets uses 5 frame per second. faster frame work fine.
