I've applied the update, but now the bubble shows the Rhythmbox icon for
everything even if it has art. The only way I can get the art to appear
is if I press my keyboard's fast forward button. After that song

This is happening to me too. It just started about a week ago. I have
four icons in my notification area immediately after I log in; wireless,

Rhythmbox shows wrong album cover via indicator-applet.
For example, if your artist album ended and jump to next one, indicator-applet
still shows wrong album cover (from older album).
See attached screenshot. There're "Rammstein" with "Epica"
I have great news : it works!
I was just being impatient, after forgetting about the absence of
temperature in the clock applet for a few minutes, I was later surprised
when I found it was displaying!
I confirm that the patch proposed by Philippe Gauthier works great.
