Dear Engineers and developpers,
I found out already. It has to do with Tomcat. First I had Tomcat 5.5
(9.10). In version 10.4 not Tomcat 5.5 available anymore.
Also during upgrade Tomcat 6 was not installed.
What I did is just delete line 6 in /etc/environment/ with the
consequence I cannot use
I also _need_ Xinerama to use three screens properly and i also don't
care about RandR and it IS enabled anyway so whats up with that ?
And yes promting the error to stdout is pretty much pain in the a. How
can we fix that bug ?

Same problem here. But the power management appears every time I try to
log in and log in process takes much longer than before. The problem
showed up when I installed updates yesterday after a clean installation

Seems that updating to 2.6.32-22 kernel is the problem but as mentioned
before booting with 2.6.32-21 kernel is no relief.
Also as mentioned in bug #575337 a significant delay in showing panels

Agree, I got this wrong as well the first time. In my case, it didn't even show
what the error was (not providing the xxx@ username) but a generic could not
connect to SSH tunnel.
When I provided u...@host instead of just the host it went fine.
I vote for a separate remote user field or a
follow up:
I suspended the machine, got back, and the connection worked
I hibernated, turned it on again... the connection didn't work, tried to
reconnect, disabled the account, enabled it gain: network error
then I ran killall telepathy-butterfly and everything worked.

In these times, end-to-end encryption is really a must. Even Google,
with switching to https, is starting to realize that security is

This is a fairly annoying bug that's been around and known at least
since 2005. As such, it gathered it's fair share of me too and how
dare you haven't fixed this yet!!111! comments.

I tried to open a pdf document secured by a password. Evince
I also have this problem on Ubuntu 10.04 with Empathy 2.30.1. When I
type in a chat box I see my ICQ number instead of my name even if I
change it in Edit, Personal Information.

Jiahua (comment 11), thank you for sharing that patch. Unfortunately,
it only fixes the problem inthe Chinese case and thus is not a real
solution.
