convert all my pc's back to windows xp and vista. I found just now that
i am unable to play commercialy recorded cds also. whereas I cant fix
the problem in linux, I need to go back to the windows system where the
problem doesn't
Confirmed. This bug is still present in Natty, gnome-control-center
version 1:2.32.1-0ubuntu2. It's quite annoying that I have to re-add all
my backgrounds almost every time I want to switch to a new one.

Hello. Have you had this feature working in empathy at some point
before? As far as I can see, as per
http://live.gnome.org/Empathy/FAQ#For_which_protocols_does_Empathy_support_audio_and_video_chat.3F
and my testing, empathy does not support video chat with Yahoo. Video
chat should work with Gtalk

It has not worked previously for Yahoo or for Gtalk. I will have to look into

I fired up Update Manager to check what fixes were waiting - decided to
have a look at the related Launchpad report against one of the kernel

This seems to be a nautilus problem since it has to do with opening
default programs. Changing package. Once you rebooted was this issue
repeatable or is it working as expected now?
