I cannot speak for Martin Pitt, nor for Canonical, but I believe I can explain
why this bug is (and should be) of Medium rather than High importance.
Importance for bugs in Ubuntu is assigned according to the priority in
the Ubuntu project as a whole, and the effect of the bugs on Ubuntu
I can not reproduce this in 11.04 with Unity and 9.04 is no longer

1) Could you test my package in natty-proposed and report back? We need
verification before it can go out to users.
I tried installing freeciv-client-gtk 2.2.4-1ubuntu0.1 on my Natty live CD and
(a) the global menu was correctly suppressed (launched from menus or command

Maybe it would be enough to let the mouse jump as soon as one presses for

Thanks for the verification, Jacob. I've tagged the bug as verified.
who is we? if its ubuntu, why are you deliberately trying to carry a
delta on this package; will it break freeciv on other systems?
I did mean Ubuntu, but no, I hate deltas! I love nothing better than
running 'requestsync'.
Same issue on both of my systems (11.04 64 bit). /proc/kcore is 128TB. A
quick search says that the file is just a virtual file for how much RAM
the system can allocate. On a 64-bit OS, that size is 128TB (wow,
imagine that much ram). Perhaps a simple fix would just be to tell
nautilus to ignore

Not sure about everyone else, but I just checked it again today and it
appears to be fixed! I know it was still broken as of last weekend,
so... it was fixed sometime in the last four days or so.
Can you others confirm that you no longer see the problem either?

I'm no longer seeing the issue. Apparently it was fixed by some oneiric
